This benefit is the debut event at the former PNC Bank site at 6000 Penn Avenue to establish a local arts and entertainment industry business incubator. The incubator’s organizational mission is primarily for the support and education of local visual, performing, and media artists. A major source of support provided by Pitt Law School will be Business and Legal Educational Programming for visual, performing and media artists. The space will also be dedicated to exhibiting local artists and maintaining a gallery with new exhibits and shows. These exhibits and show will be produced by volunteer efforts. Additionally, the incubator should allow for all sorts of performances, fundraisers for community nonprofits, and private rentals for parties and shows. Volunteers have already committed to staffing the gallery so it can be open to the public on weekend days.
