Polish Hill has a new place to go to hang out and make stuff: Little House, Big Art, which is in the former Polish Falcons building, at 3028 Brereton Street (that’s the big red brick building near 30th Street, the former Emma Kaufmann Clinic).
Run by art teacher Elizabeth Bashur, Little House, Big Art has a regular open studio with various crafts projects, all quite inexpensive, for all ages. Some of the projects now being offered include painting your own pottery, making buttons, Shrinky Dinks, or painting a wooden animal (click here for more details about these projects). There are also materials for whatever else you might think of. Open studio hours are: Mondays: 11am-3pm; Thursdays: 2pm-6pm; and on Tuesday, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays: 10am-6pm.
Elizabeth will also start offering classes soon, so stay tuned and check the Little House, Big Art website or Facebook.
