Jenny Lee Bakery is closing its doors


It is with great sadness that the PHCA says farewell to our good friends at Jenny Lee Bakery.After 70 years in the business, Jenny Lee will be closing its doors on Saturday, Aug 16 —

…The bakery was opened Downtown by cousins Paul Baker and Bernard McDonald, according to the company’s Web site. Originally they bought goods from the Seven Baker Brothers Bakery, operated by other family members. Read the Post Gazette article

You have been a wonderful partner to the Polish Hill neighborhood. And you will be missed, along with the cremehorns, angel puff cookies and your wonderful jelly donuts. Thank you for your support and for hanging in there for so long as one of a few independent bakers.

Jenny Lee Baked Good coming to PHCA

All of those yummy treats that PHCA has been offering over the last few months will now be offered on a weekly basis! You will be able to purchase cookies, donuts, breads and pies directly from PHCA. And at certain times of year seasonal treats, like Patzki and Valentine Cookies, will be available as well.

How does it work? Glad you asked! PHCA will have your orders ready for pick up EVERY Saturday. Just place your orders by Thursday @10AM. You can place orders by –
