From 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday September 24, twenty community farms and gardens all across Allegheny County have invited you to visit their food projects. To participate in this self-guided tour, all you have to do is show up!
You can print your own map, or, starting at 9:00 am on Saturday, September 24, you can pick up print-outs of the map at the Grow Pittsburgh offices, 5429 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15206 (across from the Quiet Storm Coffeehouse). Call (412) 362-4769 to arrange to get a map at another time.

Bike Tour link: an easy-moderate 10 miles from Grow Pittsburgh: North Aiken Community Garden, Pennley Garden, Larimer Community Farm, Shilo Peace Garden, Hamnett Community Garden, Whitney Avenue Urban Farm, Homewood Cemetery Community Garden, Grow Pittsburgh Greenhouse at the Frick (bike lock needed!), and back to Grow Pittsburgh
East End Route: Pennley Garden, Larimer Community Farm, Shilo Peace Garden, Homewood Community Garden, Hamnett Community Garden, Whitney Avenue Urban Farm, Penn Hills Community Garden
Central Route: Garfield Community Farm, North Aiken Community Garden, Wiggins Garden, Harmar Garden, Tustin St. Community Garden, Frazier Farms
