Community potluck on October 20 to welcome young leaders from around the world to Polish Hill

From October 18 – 22 Pittsburgh will  host nearly 1,500 young leaders in their 20s from around the world for the One Young World Summit.  The city successfully competed to host the summit, which is held in a different country each year.  The bid was spearheaded by the One Young World Pittsburgh Partnership, a consortium of local companies, non-profits and community organizations, and supported by political, community and business leaders within Pittsburgh and across the United States.

The PHCA is collaborating with Heidi Tucker of Lili Coffee Shop to host a community potluck at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday October 20 to welcome a few of these young leaders to Polish Hill.  Anyone who is interested in showing some Pittsburgh hospitality to these young people is welcome to attend.  If you would like to come and bring something, please get in touch.
