La Escuelita Arcoiris, the Spanish-language immersion preschool attended by a number of Polish Hill kids, is having a Day of the Dead celebration on our neighborhood on Saturday November 5 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the former Emma Kaufmann Clinic at 3028 Brereton Street.

Festivities include: a shadow puppet show; children’s crafts; facepainting; an oldfashioned ‘cake walk’; a photobooth; tacos by Casa Rasta; and a community altar and procession.
