It was a beautiful day for a spring celebration. The sun was out and small glimmerings of new green were in evidence among the detritus of the winter. The children found all of the eggs in record time at yesterday’s Egg Hunt.

With the eggs gathered, we all walked down to the West Penn Community Center to warm up, listen to a few stories and have a hot dog or two. The children and parents visited and shared stories about this past winter’s storms.

We had a lovely time.
