PARK(ing) Day is a annual global event where citizens, artists and activists collaborate to temporarily transform parking spaces into temporary public places. This year, the PHCA, Lili Coffee* Shop and friends teamed up to create a small park at the corner of Dobson and Hancock streets, in front of the coffee shop. The theme is camping and there are little tents for the kids to play in, surrounded by faux and real nature. Music and food will start at about 5:30 this evening — bring something to put on the grill. There will be a campfire, and Rob will have marshmallows. Come out and see how cool one parking space can be!
