A few weeks ago we had a PHCA yard sale at our offices, and many wonderful people donated their odds and ends for the PHCA to sell. It was a successful fundraiser for the PHCA, and a great community event on a beautiful late-summer day.
Now the Polish Hill Flea Market, taking place on Saturday the 25th from 12-5 pm, expands the options. The PHCA will have sale tables at the market, and we are again seeking donations of household items, books, bikes, and any other useful things. If you just have a few things to give away, consider giving them to us–your donations will help support our community programs.
But if you have a LOT of odds and ends, consider getting your own sale table! Tables are just $10, and you can share with a friend. And items don’t have to be the usual flea market array of secondhand items; you can sell art or crafts; whatever you like as long as it’s family-friendly and not toxic or dangerous.
And if you don’t have anything to sell, we invite you to stop by and check it out. There will be the usual fun and varied flea market stuff: books, clothes, household items, fun knick-knacks, games, toys, and more. (We have an oscilloscope! Don’t you need one of those?) There will also be comics, cupcakes, Avon products, food…and more vendors are applying every day. We hope to have good weather, and we hope to see you there!
Please get in touch if you have any questions (412.681.1950, or email phcapgh@gmail.com). If you want to reserve a table, get in touch now because we are limited on space.
