Lots of cultural posts lately! But you should really not miss this: we’re in the midst of RAD Days, an annual weeks-long promotion of the area’s cultural attractions. During this time, each day different area museums, theatres, and other places have free admission. It’s a great opportunity to check out places that you might have felt you couldn’t afford.
This Saturday, there’s the Frick, the History Center, Pittsburgh Filmmakers, Riverquest, City Theatre, the South Park Hay Day, Society for Contemporary Craft, and Boyce Park’s Outdoor Classroom all have scheduled activities for visitors, especially families – and free admission. On Sunday, Fort Pitt Museum, Carnegie Museum of Art and the Museum of Natural History, Pittsburgh Center for the Arts, the Children’s Museum, the African American Heritage Association, the Mattress Factory, and the Pittsburgh Opera have special attractions and free admission.
The full schedule is here, and here’s a one-page printable version.
