If you aren’t going to the opening of the Three Rivers Arts Festival this evening, there’s lots of things going on close by.  Pandemic is at Brillobox tonight — listen to their summer mix here.  In addition to the always-great mix of world dance, Lungs Face Feet will be playing.  They’re a regular presence around Polish Hill, including at the May Day parade and at last year’s Free4All music festival.  We’re hoping they can come play at the arts festival this year.

All of Penn Avenue is going to be hopping; Unblurred, the first Fridays event on Penn is also this evening.  There’s an open house at the Pittsburgh Glass Center, lots of galleries and shops open, and food, of course.  There’s a whole list here; maps are available the night of the event.  It should be a beautiful evening, just right to walk around.  Whatever you choose to do, we hope you have fun!
