Here is a fun-sounding all-ages show with Slim & George Cessna & Rob Loveclutch (aka Rob-who-is-opening-the-coffeeshop-on-Dobson)

w/ The Inseams at the New Hazlett Theater, Allegheny Square East, on Friday, May 29, 2009 at 10:00pm.  (There isn’t any admission price on the notice or on the New Hazlett’s site, but I’m pretty sure it’s not actually free.  If I find out the price, I will update this)

Slim says:  “This is our Pittsburgh Payback Show. For all the love and support you have given to us – we pay you back Friday night – with our music!”

If you haven’t been to the New Hazlett Theater, this might be a good time to go.  It’s a fantastic theater with a state-of-the art sound system and a drinks and snacks bar.  Allegheny Square is the termination of the 54C line, so it’s an easy trip from Polish Hill even if you don’t have a vehicle.
