Artists Image Resource is a full printmaking facility for artists and others who need to silkscreen t-shirts, make etchings, create signs or prints, and, oh, lots of other things.  They’re a valuable resource for area artists, charging reasonable prices for studio access and assistance.  Plus, it’s  just across the river — plus a few blocks — from Polish Hill, making A.I.R.’s summer bash this evening a good choice if you feel like having a fun, low-impact, casual evening out.  There’ll be bands, they’re grilling food, there’s beer and pop, there are printmaking activities for all ages, and a few art exhibits.  All for just $5 at the door, which benefits this fantastic facility.  We’ll be going; hope to see you there!
