PHCA now accepting applications for community garden plots

Polish Hill has two community gardens:  the Harmar Street garden, which is just three years old, and the Wiggins garden, which was established in 1979.  Many of the plots are held by longtime gardeners, but each year there are always some spaces available.

The application period for community garden plots for the 2012 season has now opened.  Prior gardening experience isn’t required, but applicants must be Polish Hill residents, help with garden prep at the beginning of the season; and (if accepted), pay a $10 fee to offset materials and maintenance.  To apply, email the PHCA or call 412.681.1950 with your name, contact info, and which garden you’d prefer.  We’ll let you know in late April if we have a space for you.
