Staffski took a little stroll to a couple garden sites on Polish Hill today. First stop was the new garden on Harmar Street. Volunteers from the Student Conservation Association worked with Polish Hill residents on Tuesday evening to plant some flowers.
The garden is already attracting visitors —
While I was out and about, I also swung by the Wiggins Community Garden. Check out the colorful pinwheels and all of the rainbarrels.
We could always use a hand with gardening and clean-up projects on Polish Hill. In fact, our next clean-up is going to be in early July, probably around July 11. If youare interested in helping out, contact us at PHCA at phcapgh@gmail.com or bu phone at 412-681-1950.
