Spring planting

Volunteers got an early start this morning on planting the garden at Brereton and 30th Streets. Coffee was set up and ready to go at 8AM by PHCA’s Green Team. Polish Hill neighbors, Josie Ramsey and Debbie Jozwiak, coordinated the effort, finding volunteers in the neighborhood and from other organizations.

Many thanks go out to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy for supplying the materials and perennials. PNC Bank volunteers were on hand to help out, as well as Boy Scouts Troop 73 from Lawrenceville. Many thanks for all that you do to make the neighborhood a special place!
