The World Food Garden

During the early part of last century, 40% of all produce consumed in the UK, the USA and Canada was grown in gardens at home. WorldFoodGarden.org is dedicated to bringing back that 40% mark and more, to the whole entire world.

The World Food Garden website is worth a look.  It connects gardeners from around the world and provides information for your own garden– the WFG Plant Guide provides growing information for each plant, including climate needs, days to maturity, plant care, photos, and even planting dates for your area!

You can register and post your own garden on the site for others to see, as well as look at personal gardens across the world.
