As part of Buy Fresh Buy Local’s Local Food Month, Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA) is putting together an Urban Farm Bike Tour on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 12-7 pm. It’s a self guided tour through the city showcasing lovely community gardens and farms, including many from Grow Pittsburgh. Ride with others on the group ride at 2pm starting at Braddock Farms in Braddock PA. Show support and bring awareness to fresh food sources and biking in Pittsburgh.
Go at your own pace through the tour or go with a group at 2pm starting at the Braddock Farms . There will be raffles, seed bomb making and yummy treats at each stop.

–Braddock Farms: corner of Braddock Ave and 10th St in Braddock, PA
–Shiloh Peace Garden: corner of Thomas Blvd. and Homewood Ave in Pittsburgh, PA
–Frick Greenhouse: 7227 Reynolds St, inside the Frick Art and Historical Center
–Larimer Community Garden: Corner of Larimer Ave and Mayflower St, Pittsburgh, PA
–Whole Food’s Enright : end of S.St Claire Street in East liberty looping around the garden you will be on Stamar Way.
–Cliff St. Block Club Proposed garden spot: corner or Manilla and Cliff st. Pittsburgh, PA
