2009 Tree Tender Dates Announced!

Spring is here, and that means time for tree planting! Become involved in your community this Spring by completing FPUF’s Tree Tender Course.  There are still available spots open for the May 2009 course.

No prior experience is required to become a Tree Tender, just a desire to improve the quality of life in our city.  Participants will receive course materials, dinner at each session, Tree Tender shirt, and, after completing eight hours of volunteer time,  hand pruners.  The course costs $40 for all three sessions.  Scholarships are available.

For more information, contact Caitlin Lenahan at Caitlin@pittsburghforest.org.
