Tree seedlings will also be handed out at the various Citiparks Farmers’ Markets this week:

Tuesday Oct 20th @ South Side Farmers Market

Wednesday Oct 21st @ Carrick Farmers Market (Brownsville & Parkfield)

All events are on a “first come, first served” basis and will last until all of the trees have been distributed.

The trees to be given away are smaller species. The tree give-aways are generously supported by the Shade Tree Commission, Friends of the Pittsburgh Urban Forest, and Eilser’s Nursery. For more information, contact the Mayor’s Office of Sustainability at 412-255-2254.
