The Nine Mile Run Watershed Association has a number of interesting free events coming up.  On Thursday the 14th, there is a rain barrel open house from 5:30-8pm at the NMRWA office at 702 South Trenton Ave.  Join them for an evening of savory food and drink and explore innovative options for residential storm water management.  In the rain barrel workshop, you can learn how to install and maintain your barrel for optimum performance.  See the NMRWA rain garden and learn about the optimum plant choices for a rain garden on your property.  RSVP by calling 412.371.8770 ext 15 or email lisa@ninemilerun.org.
