We had seven volunteer tree pruners working in Polish Hill last night. Don Mahaney, from Friends of the Pittsburgh Urban Forest, gave a brief pruning lesson. Then we went as teams to prune the trees.

Nineteen trees on Dobson and Brereton were attended to. All of the pruned branches were collected in compostable bags and will be dropped off at the City recycling center.

In general our trees and tree pits are in really good condition.
