In the last year and a half, dozens of new trees have been planted along the streets of Polish Hill. These trees come from the City and are planted by City crews and neighborhood volunteers.
The last round of tree request applications are currently going through site assessments, but as you might imagine, the weather is not cooperating. The City has informed us that their schedule is to have all sites reviewed by the end of January.
Once this happens people who submitted an application will receive a letter letting them know that the neighborhood will be getting trees, and then a follow up letter with an exact date. The plantings will begin the end of March and continue thru April, weather permitting.
We will keep you updated as spring approaches!
