Has anyone else noticed how this invasive plant has taken over some of the hills in this neighborhood?  It’s hard to see in this photo, but striking in person.  On one side of the Dobson/Herron city stairs (on the right, going down) the hillside is completely covered with one plant.  On the other side is a mix of the usual native plants–with the knotweed starting to encroach.  Some of the hillsides seem to be free of it; on others, it’s all there is.  There was less last year; there will probably be more next year.
