The PHCA occasionally gets inquiries from people looking for family members. A gentleman named Witold Koziolek has emailed from Poland, looking for his family. He says:
“I have two very old letters written in year 1931 in Pittsburgh and send to Poland to my moms grandmother by her brother Frank Klaja (Franciszek Klaja). The back address was 3704 Fleetwood Str Pittsburgh PA.”.
So, for our older members, or those of Polish heritage, how about it? Does anyone know where the Klaja family went? It would be really cool to help this man reconnect with his family.

Hello, I did a zabasearch and there is a Frank M Klaja listed at 441 Patton Ave, Farrell, PA at 724-342-6230. He is the only Frank Klaja listed in the search nationwide.
I am a descendent of a Polish family from New Kensington and I’ve only just discovered Polish Hill while reading a news article out of Pittsburgh today. I wish these folks the best of luck in locating their family members.
I will forward that information, Renee. Thanks!
