I was walking along Downing this afternoon. Over the last couple months, some bird houses have been appearing on the fence between the street and the hill overlooking the Allegheny River. What started out as a few has increased to around thirty little bird houses.
They are spread over three poles. All of them are painted gold. Recently, a chair was added. It’s an elaborately scrolled chair, painted gold and sitting near the telephone pole. It looks like such a peaceful place to sit and enjoy the view and entertain the occasional feathered visitor.
This one was my favorite —
What a great contribution. I love the idea, both for the birdies and the neighbors, hope to visit with my son Brian. Keep up the good work PHCA, you are an inspiration. Judy
