Community Plan Workshops this Saturday: Polish Hill residents invited

We’ve been talking this up a lot, but with good reason:  this is about involving residents in the future of Polish Hill.  This Saturday we’ll be holding a series of workshops on four main topics, and we hope that Polish Hill residents will consider attending as many as they can — or all!  During these workshops, Pfaffmann + Associates, the firm we’re working with to create the plan, will lead in-depth discussions and exercises to come up with ideas to address the areas on concern identified by residents.

10:00 – 11:15    Housing and buildings

11:30 – 12:45    Transportation, infrastructure, and gateways

1:00 – 1:30         (lunch)

1:45 – 3:00        Open space, green spaces, public art

3:15 – 4:30        Community building

These workshops build upon the information we collected during the first public meeting, on May 16.  If you attended that meeting and enjoyed the discussion sessions, we urge you to attend on Saturday, even if it’s just for the workshop on the topic that interests you most.  The workshops will be a more in-depth discussion.

A light lunch will be available.  If you plan to attend, please RSVP to the PHCA by phone (412.681.1950) or email.  (If you don’t RSVP, we won’t know to order food for you!)
