It’s cooled down a bit, maybe it’s time to do some cleaning.  Don’t you need to clear out unneeded stuff, make some space?  The PHCA is seeking donations for the next  fundraising yard sale, to be held on Saturday, September 17th.  We’ll take furniture, books, toys, household items, tools, bikes, and anything fun, odd, or interesting.  We’ve noticed that a lot of people really like old stuff, too; lots of that around here.  And unfortunate experience has made it necessary to say, clothing must be clean.

Donations may be dropped off at the PHCA office during office hours.  We’re open 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday (later in the month the office will be on a shorter schedule for a couple of weeks).

The last yard sale in June netted a little over $1,000, which went towards the arts festival.  The proceeds from the September sale will go towards community events over the fall and winter.  And the yard sales themselves are nice community events — everyone likes a yard sale, it seems.
