Happy 42nd birthday to the PHCA!

The Polish Hill Civic Association was officially incorporated on September 15, 1969.  We’re one of the oldest community organizations in Pittsburgh, and proud to still be here.  Thanks to the many people who have sent birthday greetings via Facebook or in person.

Interesting fact:  the first vice president of the PHCA was Charlie Doloughty; his grandson Terry Doloughty is the current president.  Many people who were involved with the organization in the early days are still members.  We’re glad to have this continuity in addition to the many great new residents who have gotten involved.  Here’s to a strong community organization for many years to come!
