The first public meeting for the community plan was just the beginning of the conversation about Polish Hill’s future. The next public event, on Saturday June 4, will be a day of workshops on each of the four main areas of focus. We’re still finalizing the exact times of each workshop; but here’s the tentative schedule of events:
Housing and buildings (10 am)
Traffic, transportation, infrastructure, and gateways (at about 11:30)
(lunch)
Green spaces, open spaces, and public art (at about 1:45)
Community building (at about 3:15)
Again, those are tentative times, just to let people start to make plans. The whole event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but we understand that not everyone can devote that much time. You can attend just the workshop(s) you’re interested in. A light lunch will be provided for those who attend for the whole day.
We’ll keep posting about this — we hope to get as large, and diverse, a group of residents as possible. We need to hear from lots of residents to make the most representative plan for Polish Hill. If you would like more information or are interested in attending, please RVSP the PHCA at 412.681.1950 or email us.
