We posted about this a few days ago, but this is an important event so it bears repeating: all Polish Hill residents are invited to the first public meeting for the Polish Hill Community Plan. The meeting will take place from 6:30 -8:30 on on Monday evening in the senior center on the lower level of the West Penn Recreation Center. Pfaffmann + Associates, the firm hired by the PHCA to do the plan for us, will present the data we’ve gathered so far, from walking tours, the neighborhood survey, from the census and City data. Then there will be an opportunity for residents to share their ideas for ways for Polish Hill to move forward in the future.
If you can’t make it Monday evening, the next public event for the Community Plan will be a series of workshops on Saturday, June 4. The workshops will cover each of our focus areas: housing; traffic, transportation, and gateways; green spaces and public art; and community building. You can attend one workshop, or all four. For more information on the workshops or any aspect of the Community Plan, call the PHCA at 412.681.1950, or email us at phcapgh@gmail.com. We hope to hear from as many residents and stakeholders as possible!
