City asking for citizen input on Five-Year plan

The Community Development Division of the Department of City Planning is currently working with Urban Design Ventures to prepare the City’s 2010-2014 Five Year Consolidated Plan and 2010 One-Year Action Plan.  The Five Year Consolidated Plan outlines the City’s needs regarding housing, economic development, public infrastructure and public services, and the One-Year Plan serves as our annual application to HUD for federal funding, including CDBG, Emergency Shelter, Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) and HOME Program funds.

As part of the planning process, the City is seeking citizen input.  Here is a copy of the citizen questionnaire (city-of-pittsburgh-citizen-questionaire.doc), which should take around 10 minutes to complete.  Since this is designed to be a “confidential” questionnaire, you are of course not under any obligation to answer any questions that you feel are too personal.

The questionnaire can be mailed via email to Shelly Martz at City Planning or mailed to Sue Scheuring at City Planning, 200 Ross Street, 4th floor, Pittsburgh PA 15219.
