Public hearing on pension and parking plans

The City Council has sent out an announcement about an informational public hearing on plans to stabilize the underfunded city pension, including the option to lease the city’s parking system.  If you feel strongly about this debate, please consider attending and sharing your concerns.

When: Wednesday, October 6, from 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Where: Stephen Foster Community Center, 286 Main Street, Lawrenceville

Why:  To learn more about how we got to this point and the suggested solutions, including the Mayor’s plan to lease the parking system.

After a basic presentation, Council would like to hear questions, comments and concerns from city residents.  This public hearing is free and open to the public. To register to speak, call the City Clerk’s Office at 412-255-2138.
