More than 90 people showed up at Pittsburgh Fire Station #4 yesterday to donate blood for Doug Weaver, a Polish Hill resident who was recently diagnosed with acute leukemia.  This is an amazing response that speaks to the generosity of so many people as well as the esteem in which Doug is held.

Here’s a big thank-you and appreciation to all the people who made time to go and give.  We will keep you updated about future blood drives or other support for the Pierce-Weaver family.
