Staffski is extending a hearty congratulations to Mark Daniher for his acknowledgment in the Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art catalog. It is a beautiful piece and will be a wonderful addition to any home. Please give Mark a round of applause for his support of this worthwhile cause.
Mark Daniher has been interested in art from an early age. With abstract art as a major interest, he won his “first” award in that category at the age of nine. As Mark grew, so did his interest in woodworking. He spent nine years constructing furniture, two and a half years working with artists designing ornamental metals and one year working with stained glass. He even tried his hand in stone carving. Still, his main interest always came back to abstract art in woodworking. Designing tables, boxes and wall hangings using reclaimed woods and exotic woods in their natural state is his passion. He uses no stains, but only clear finishes to preserve the natural beauty of the wood. This stunning table is made of six domestic and seven imported woods and features a gorgeous inlaid top. Mark is one of many new artists participating in Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art this year.

Celebrate Life, Celebrate Art is an annual art auction for the benefit of Persad Center. CLCA is Persad’s biggest single fund raising event, and is hosted largely through the dedicated efforts of volunteers who provide their time and talent to coordinate everything from art donation and entertainment to information technology and site design. If you would like to purchase tickets or preview additional art, check the event site.
