The Immaculate Heart of Mary festival took place on July 19. The festival has a long history on Polish Hill. There was Bingo games in the afternoon along with other games for young and old. The ladies pulled out all stops for the food, with all sorts of traditional Polish dishes and baked goods. A live Polka band take the stage at 4pm and played through the end of the festival, much to the delight of many of the residents. The festival had a nice turnout, considering the heat of the day. We look forward to attending next year’s festival.
