The weather may still be cool and rainy, but you can be sure spring is here when the monument committee gathers to remove the rest of the Christmas lights and decorations and put up the Memorial Day decorations. Some people feel this also signals the arrival of planting time.
As you can see, decorating the tree is a precarious job, depending on the assistance of brave men and some dedicated supervisors.
