Wanda Wolkiewicz

February 15, 1918 to February 23, 2008

Wanda, (Winnie) Daughter of Anthony and Josephine (Puszc, Witkowska), from Sewickley, peacefully passed away on February 23, 2008.

Born in the Polish Hill area of Pittsburgh, PA, she lived in San Diego, CA from 1977 to 1989 then moved back to Pittsburgh. Winnie worked for many years at Eat N Park in Avalon. Winnie is preceded in death by her husband Joseph David Wolkiewicz, Sr. and her son Joseph David Wolkiewicz, Jr. She is survived by her son Len Wolkiewicz (Gretchen), daughter Lee (Sonny). Her grandchildren, John, Debbie, Mark, Becky, and Leigh Ann, and 4 great-grandchildren.  Rebekah, Emily will miss their “Nana”.

No services will be held.  Her ashes will be spread in the Pacific Ocean, as were her husband’s ashes. Anyone who knew Wanda is encouraged to contact me at johnskiwolk@hotmail.com.  I am trying to locate family members.
