We just received this press release from the City of Pittsburgh:

The City of Pittsburgh advises that the Department of Public Works will have contractors performing tree maintenance on Bigelow Boulevard from Mellon Arena to Herron Avenue on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 through November 6, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Bigelow Boulevard will be reduced from two lane inbound and/or two lane outbound traffic to one lane of traffic in either direction with intermittent delays.  The Department of Public Works advises Motorists using Bigelow as a daily route to prepare for delays.
