BLOGSKI had reported earlier this week that PWSA would be shutting off the water in our neighborhood on August 9. PWSA just gave us an update on the shut off.

The shut off has been extended by two hours for the day.  As previously reported —

The shutoff is necessary to fix a water main break at Bigelow and Herron and will affect residents living west of Hancock Street.

Water will be shut off on Brereton, Hancock, Paulowna, Phelan, Fleetwood, Bigelow to Herron (west side), and the west side of Ridgeway. The water will also be off on Brereton west, Stockholm, Haran, and Kenney. Those on Herron Ave from Bigelow to Ruthven will experience low pressure. The PWSA was specific about the streets that will be affected; if your street isn’t mentioned you probably will not notice any change in water service.

The PWSA will be issuing a press release, so check their website or your newspaper for more information.
