Cooking classes at the new grocery store in the Strip

You did know there was a great new grocery store in the Strip, right?  Right by Nature, at 22nd and Smallman, is a full-sized grocery store selling organic and natural foods.  There are meat and cheese counters, a bakery and cafe, and the produce section is the best in the Strip.  The weekly specials are amazing–recent examples include broccoli for 79 cents a pound, two avocados for a dollar, apples for a dollar a pound, and celery for 69 cents.

On Sunday, Feb 8th from 1-3 pm, Right by Nature premieres a new series of cooking classes with chef Greg Alauzen, of Cioppino.  Seating is limited, so sign up in advance by calling 412.454.6200.  Right by Nature has free parking with purchase (entrance to the parking garage on 23rd street).

  1. Yep, they’re a good thing for the area. I hope they do well and stay. I’m trying to put the word out on Polish Hill.
