Discussions and negotiations are underway and the planning of the high speed passenger rail network is in its beginning stages. It does sound, at this juncture, like Pittsburgh will be included in the network. Rail is such a wonderful way to travel. It’s very relaxing, tons of leg room, plenty of opportunities to stretch your leags and enjoy the view. Passengers aren’t shoe-horned in like they are on planes or buses. —

The route would serve as a link between a high-speed designated corridor that runs between Chicago and Cleveland and one that runs between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. A few more details
