Rally to save transit service on Wednesday

Sorry to not have posted about this sooner– we only just got the press release!

There will be a rally to save transit service tomorrow, Wednesday the 25th, at 9:00 a.m. at 346 6th Avenue, which is outside the Port Authority Board Meeting.  The rally is organized by Pittsburghers for Public Transit, who said this:

“Slashing 35% of bus service, along with fare increases and hundreds of layoffs, will cripple transportation in Allegheny County and cause tremendous hardship. The Port Authority board votes on this proposal at its Nov. 24 meeting.  Help us fight these cuts!”
